The women of locally owned Blush European Clothing and Adventure company will host a winter trunk show from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Big O's, 80 Ottawa Ave. NW. Cash and checks only.

Uptown Holiday Shop Hop
Hit four of the city's hottest shopping districts (East Fulton, East Hills, Eastown and Wealthy Street) during the Uptown holiday event Thursday evening. Many businesses will offer special promotions and shoppers can hitch a free ride on the Uptown trolley. The trolley will run between the four districts from 4-9 p.m. Thursday. Lots of new restaurants and shops included in the event; come hungry and bring your shopping list.

Holiday Artists' Market.
A key event for the Urban Institute of Contemporary Arts, 41 Sheldon Blvd. SE, this annual tradition highlights some of the best artists and artisans in the region. The spot to go to find one-of-a-kind items for the creative person on your list. Member's only preview is 4-5 p.m. Friday, market opens to the public 5-9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. This year, the UICA has added kid's activities 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. Cash bar during sale hours.

Urban Lights event
Grand Rapids' Avenue for the Arts is crammed with interesting boutiques and fun art galleries.
